Snooper Ventura is a completely unique sat nav system designed specially for caravan and motorhome use. The very first unit of it's kind, Ventura allows you to input the length, width and weight of your vehicle and will then only calculate routes that are practical and safe, avoiding low bridges and narrow roads plus, where possible roads that are unsuitable for larger vehicles.

Select the facilities you require from the built-in ACSI campsite database then search and navigate to one of 8600 campsites across 29 countries across Europe. Ventura will even show you a photograph of your chosen campsite before you depart!

Select the facilities you require from the built-in campsite databases from ACSI, Board Atlas and the Caravan Club, then search and navigate to one of the thousands of campsites and caravan sites in 29 countries across Europe. Simply choose the country and region you want to visit then select from a list of facilities you require such as campsites with swimming pools, watersports, a nearby river, by the sea and with shops, restaurants etc and Ventura will then do the rest.

A list of campsites that match your chosen criteria will be displayed, some even include photographs so you can see the campsite first hand. Once you have selected the campsite you want to vist, Ventura will route you straight there.

As a driver you will know the importance of needing to know exactly what lies ahead. Accurate and reliable information is a must to ensure that you get to your destination on time. Snooper's TMC information is provided by ITIS probably the best traffic information provider in the UK. Traffic information is fed from 100's of thousands of vehicles and sensors across the country providing up to the second information. It's reach and accuracy is far better than those systems that use fixed sensors only providing a considerably higher level of service.

Ventura's TMC service will alert you to all traffic incidents across the country and lists them in distance order from your current position. As well as this overview however you can also choose to monitor traffic incidents that are specific to the route you have programmed on the system. And, if there is congestion on your route you can simply ask Ventura to automatically find a route around it.

Unlike AURA, many other GPS speed camera databases rely largely on locations provided by hobbyists who might not be able to tell a speed camera or a red light camera from a traffic flow camera or a surveillance camera. Built-in MP3 player

Snooper Ventura comes complete with a built-in MP3 player. Now you can navigate to your destination whilst listening to you favourite music at the same time. The Snooper Ventura comes with a headphone socket so you can plug in headphones, but it is also possible to plug in an FM transmitter (not included) enabling you to transmit both the navigation instructions and your music through your vehicles car stereo.

Bluetooth Handsfree Technology

Stay on the right side of the law. Snooper Ventura is equipped with Bluetooth Handsfree Technology so that if you do have to take a call whilst you are on the move you can do so safely, with both hands still on the steering wheel. Also available as an optional extra is an extension microphone perfect for vehicles which generate a lot of background noise. The microphone can be installed permanently or temporarily and ensures that you will always be heard clearly. *The additional microphone is currently supplied free of charge on this model. Compatible with most bluetooth enabled mobile phones.

Auto Ranging

There is no need to set the detection range of Snooper Ventura, as it automatically calculates the distance required depending on the speed limit. For instance it will alert you 200 meters in advance in a 30mph zone and up to 500 meters in a 70mph zone.

Smart Mute

Snooper Ventura recognises your speed. So if you are under the speed limit as you approach a speed camera or high risk zone it will only give you a visual alert. Of course if you are over the speed limit you will get a full audible alert including voice warnings.
